Lindsay van den Brandt, PT, MPT

 Originally from the Netherlands, Lindsay moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2013. She graduated from the University of Thim van der Laan in the Netherlands in 2007. Given Lindsay’s love of sports, interest in medicine, and passion for helping others, it was an easy choice for Lindsay to pursue a career in physical therapy. 

After working for almost 6 years in the Netherlands as a physical therapist, she decided to follow her dreams and move to the United States after falling in love with not only her partner, but also with the beautiful PNW. She loves being outdoors and is still in awe when seeing the mountains, the evergreen trees, and the Puget Sound. Since 2016, she’s been living in the North End of Tacoma with her wife and cats. She loves being outdoors, enjoys spending time with family and friends, appreciating music, having dinner parties or gatherings around a bonfire and watching the stars and exploring more of America.

Lindsay loves being a physical therapist and always tries to achieve the best outcome possible by giving 100% at all times, though she also expects the same from her patients. She believes quality of movement and proper mechanics is key to getting better and finds it very important to educate her patients in this for better understanding and improved overall awareness. Lindsay enjoys meeting new people and getting to know her patients so she can help them with their individual goals and needs. While taking her role very seriously, she loves to joke around from time to time and have a good laugh in between working hard.
